The World Health Organisation has condemned the countries thinking its magically possible to make their population’s immune to novel coronavirus.
During the press briefing Dr.Micheal Ryan, Executive Director of the WHO’s health emergency programs said the idea of herd immunity is generally used for calculating how many people will need to be vaccinated in a population in order to protect those who are not vaccinated.
All the health experts warn against the herd immunity strategy.
The relationship between antibody response and clinical improvement is still not clear.
“Antibody detection and higher titers have not always been found to correlate with clinical improvement in COVID-19”
