The court says one can’t use any kind of amplifier for AZAAN without prior permission of district administration in accordance with the law and order. The bench is of the opinion that azaan may be an essential and integral part of Islaam but recitation through speakers is not an integral part of the religion. It is done in entire Uttar Pradesh in view of the guidelines of Lockdown.
